Hammer Horror
This is the picture
I chose to recreate.
Equipment
·
Hair brush
·
Heated rollers
·
Tail comb
·
Grabbies
Method
1.
Firstly brush out all the hair to get rid of all
the knots.
2.
Then, I sectioned the hair into a middle parting
and left two small pieces out at the front for the curls.
3.
I then worked through the hair starting at the
top, setting it in brickwork pattern on each side of the head securing them
with grabbies. Use the tail comb to make
sure all the wispy bits of hair are in.
4.
Place two smaller rollers in the sections at the
front of the head and then leave them all to cool.
5.
Once they are all cool, remove all the rollers
and brush out.
6.
With the two sections at the front of the head,
I curled them up like a pin curl, and subtly pinned them into place so they
wouldn’t move.
I enjoyed creating this design because I like doing roller
sets. If I was to do this again, I would
make sure I didn’t have drag when setting the rollers because I didn’t get the
lift I wanted and there was a slight dip in the hair.
